LPIC Study Guide: Exam Cram 2

The Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC) is widely regarded as one of the best Linux certs available - but finding study materials is a bit harder for the LPIC exams than for other professional certs. Admins looking to bone up before the LPIC exams should have a look at the LPIC I Exam Cram 2

This exam cram was written by Ross Brunson, who also teaches Linux “boot camps” for the LPIC level 1 certification.

I attended one of Brunson’s boot camps in 2003 to review the boot camp, and thought that Brunson did a great job of getting the class up to speed on Linux, as well as prepping them for the LPIC exams.

As a bonus, the Exam Cram also includes a CD-ROM with sample tests, which are a great help for getting used to the LPIC test format. The LPIC exam is a bit challenging, even for folks who know Linux, so it’s well worth the investment to make sure you’re ready for the tests the first time.
