Rackspace’s High-End Linux Hosting

eWeek has coverage of Rackspace Red Label, announced today. Rackspace is aiming for companies requiring five nines (99.999) uptime and applications running on J2EE or the LAMP stack. What's particularly interesting about this story is that Rackspace seems to be seeing increases in its Linux business. Rackspace has previously seen a 50/50 split between Windows and Linux. Paul Froutan, Rackspace's VP of product development, now says that Linux revenue has doubled since January 2004.
