During 2006, the company launched with a new name, OpenClovis, and an open source business model with the OpenClovis Software Project (www.openclovis.org), which made available more than 500,000 lines of its robust high availability and manageability code to the open source community. As an extension of its open source initiative, the company launched ClovisForge, an open source project that provides the high availability and carrier grade capabilities required by the telecommunications industry to popular open source enterprise and telecommunications applications.
OpenClovis also introduced new versions of its commercial products, OpenClovis Application Service Platform and OpenClovis Integrated Development Environment, which are sold and supported under the dual GPL open source and commercial license model.
