Ingres Joins the Eclipse Foundation

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., July 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Ingres Corporation, the leading Business Open Source software company, today announced it has become a member of the Eclipse Foundation. The Eclipse Foundation is an open source, not-for-profit member-supported corporation that helps cultivate both an Open Source community and an ecosystem of complementary products and services.

According to Emma McGrattan, Ingres senior vice president of engineering, "Ingres has a large application development community using a variety of application development languages across a host of operating system platforms.
