		<description>Considering there are many people facing similar issues, both in the Open Source and Proprietary Worlds I find it strange that there are few real solutions, especially in the Open Source community for stuff like thin provisioning and parallel file systems without being forced to pay through the nose for them.&lt;br /&gt;

Sure, you can use sparse files for Thin Provisioning but you lose performance.</description>

		<description>Being a memory consumer, to me the hottest topic is to find the right applications in linux (or any other efficiently designed OS) to use it better, because the immense resources required just to boot up from windows in every new operating system release, makes me avoid it every time i can.&lt;br /&gt;
That emporium (Microsoft), is forcing people to buy incredible amounts of memory without really needing it.&lt;br /&gt;
