LOS ANGELES, Jan. 18 /PRNewswire/ — Stickam.com, a social networking website that sets itself apart with its live video chat technology, features their first-ever Casting Call — to audition a Stickam Correspondent for their live coverage at SXSW's Music Festival in March 2008.

Users will audition on Stickam.com, be narrowed down by judges, and then audition LIVE against each other for the coveted prize — airfare, hotel accommodations, live online exposure when covering special SXSW music events … and the cherry on top, $2000. The final winner will be chosen by 1.4 million stickam members.

"We are thrilled to release a contest that will help us find specific talent, but it is also our vision that live online auditioning will become the norm in the future — and that the entertainment industry will embrace our technology as one that they can use for their business purposes. We believe live video streaming on the web is essential," says Hideki Kishioka of Stickam.

Continuing to lead the charge in the live video streaming field, Stickam.com is beginning to target new markets as they continue to build key cross-promotional partnerships. Expect to see more exciting projects on Stickam.com!
