VMETRO's MPE730 is a VPX-REDI quad-core processing board with dual PMC/XMC mezzanine sites and on-board Serial RapidIO and PCI Express(R) fabric connectivity. Utilizing dual Freescale Power Architecture(TM) MPC8641D processors, the four cores provide significant processing power while still meeting rugged, extended temperature convection and conduction-cooled requirements. Combining this processing power with the flexibility of dual PMC/XMC sites and the Serial RapidIO fabric enables powerful distributed multi-processing subsystems to be deployed and customized for a variety of applications such as radar and signal intelligence.
VMETRO's SBC731 is a VPX-REDI PowerPC(TM) single board computer with dual PMC/XMC mezzanine sites and on-board Serial RapidIO and PCI Express fabric connectivity. Utilizing a single Freescale MPC8641D processor while maintaining the same PMC/XMC, I/O and interconnect capabilities of the MPE730, the SBC731 is suitable for host board applications such as mission and control processors.
