MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif, May 6 /PRNewswire/ — ClearApp, a provider of comprehensive application service management (ASM) for J2EE-based composite applications, today announced the close of another strong quarter. Highlights include new customer agreements with five major US enterprises, including Alibris, Cablevision, Family Dollar, Novartis, and others, as well as extended relationships with several existing customers, such as Ingram Micro, Webster Bank and Mitchell International.

Additionally, Q1 marked the strengthening of ClearApp's application service modeling solution for the industry's most popular application management suites. Specifically, ClearApp rolled out support for the Oracle SOA Suite, and began formally offering its QuickVision product to the Oracle SOA Suite and Fusion App Server customer base. Also, ClearApp is working closely with BEA customers requiring a model-based solution to more efficiently manage applications deployed across hybrid BEA / Oracle middleware environments. Finally, this quarter has seen increased SOA deployment across the company's IBM customer base, such as with Ingram Micro.

"While today's multi-tier J2EE-based middleware enables enterprises to garner the benefits of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), the applications built with these increasingly sophisticated middleware environments have become more difficult to manage," said Jason Donahue, president and chief executive officer of ClearApp. "In the last quarter, more large corporations than ever turned to QuickVision to gain contextual visibility of their composite applications, allowing us to extend our reach beyond portals and into the world of J2EE-based SOA applications."

QuickVision's modeling technology provides customers a top-down topology of their SOA and J2EE applications across heterogeneous platforms. From the unique visual application model that QuickVision automatically generates, IT users can see the associations between different application components from both a performance and business process flow perspective with drill-down visibility. This intelligent application performance management solution provides problem management from a single console with root cause analysis and trending to isolate bottlenecks and diagnose SOA application performance problems with appropriate business context.
