NEW YORK, June 23 /PRNewswire/ — Bond Art + Science, http://www.bondartscience.com, a user experience firm focused on information architecture and interaction design, has been engaged to re-architect and redesign TheAtlantic.com, the daily source for news and opinion from the venerable magazine The Atlantic.
Part of an overall rebranding effort by The Atlantic, Bond Art + Science will partner with Euro RSCG Worldwide and Pentagram to translate the refined brand identity and evolved print design to the online space.
"The online audience for The Atlantic is now larger than its print audience, and it will continue to grow," said Karen McGrane, Senior Partner at Bond Art + Science. "It is critical that their website offer an experience that is tailored to online readers and advertisers so The Atlantic can benefit from this growth."
"The Atlantic is undergoing a substantial evolution of its brand," added Evan Orensten, Managing Partner at Bond Art + Science. "They have brought a world class group together to help them do so, and we are excited to be part of the team. Our focus is to ensure that their digital presence reflects their refined values, supports the growth of their business, and meets the needs of their readers and advertisers."
"The Atlantic has become a multi-platform business," said Justin Smith, President, Atlantic Consumer Media. "It was essential that the firm we partnered with be able to evolve our website in line with our rebranding, and understand our goals for increasing advertiser and subscription revenue online. We've found that partner in Bond Art + Science."
The Atlantic rebranding effort is scheduled to be completed in the fall.
