DynamicOps Names Johnson as Vice President of Sales

BURLINGTON, Mass., Aug. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- DynamicOps, a venture-funded spinout of Credit Suisse announced today that Brett Johnson has been appointed as vice president of sales. Johnson will oversee all sales activities for the virtualization management software company, including channel partner activity.

Johnson will oversee all sales activities for the virtualization management software company, including channel partner activity.

DynamicOps markets Virtual Resource Manager (VRM), which automates the deployment and management of virtual servers and desktops, from the time they're created until they're retired.

Johnson's initial focus will be on building an effective sales channel and recruiting a top tier sales organization for the company.

Johnson was previously with PlateSpin, a pioneer in the virtualization marketplace that was sold to Novell in early 2008. At PlateSpin, he developed key channel, distribution, and customer relationships for the company and managed the enterprise sales organization in North America. Prior to that, Johnson worked at Gomez, an application performance management vendor, again joining as one of the company's initial key employees. There, he managed all global channel and OEM sales.

A successful small business owner early in his career, Johnson is highly entrepreneurial and greatly enjoys the challenge and excitement found in startup companies.

He has a BA in economics and an MBA in marketing and IT management from the University of California, Irvine. Johnson is a native of southern California and a resident of Southboro, MA.
