		<description>&lt;p&gt;Once of the nice things about the Kickfire appliance is that you do get a real CentOS linux box (with root access) that plugs into the QPM (the external PCI-X module which houses the SQL chip and associated gigabytes of direct cache memory) and can run existing Linux applications, integrate with your existing infrastructure, etc.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Of course, if you break the appliance at the Unix command line we can\&#039;t support that - you\&#039;ll have to restore it from the recovery DVD to get back to a working system.
