I currently have Linux Mint 7 \"Gloria\" installed. I had previously installed erlang, based on your earlier article. Today, when I tried to install erlang-doc-html, it wanted synaptic to remove all of the other erlang packages I had installed previouly. I cancelled that step. Was I wrong?

@addiakogiannis: I haven\'t tried couchdb, but cherokee webserver also uses a web interface to interact with the server. Please check http://www.cherokee-project.com/doc/bundle_cherokee-admin.html for how to access the web interface from a remote machine, I think this might help.
