How will apps/people deal with network congestion and server overload? Especially in a game where time matters. These aspects of the scenario are outside the control of HTML5 and all. Perhaps this will work for people with all-the-time network connections.

Still, I agree it is a neat thing. And nice that it not so proprietary a solution.

\"If you look at all the love Google is giving developers — APIs to work with Google Apps, WebGL/ANGLE, and plenty of other goodies, it’s clear that Google is reaching way beyond standard Web development and trying to reach desktop developers and ISVs to put apps in the browser where Google rules the roost.\"

No, Microsoft is giving developers the love. Has Eric Schmidt leapt around a stage in a lardish sweat trying to get a bunch of M$ Office sales people to chant, \"developers, developers, developers?\" I don\'t think so. Where do you people get these ideas?

To be fair to Windows, although Windows itself doesn\'t include OpenGL drivers, anybody with an ATI or NVidia video card or integrated video and current drivers from the manufacturer will -- OpenGL is included in the video driver. I don\'t know whether the drivers for the Intel integrated graphics include OpenGL capability.
